Mass production of this simple yet effectively designed product will be relatively inexpensive and simple to accomplish using current production means and technology.

The base unit of the Sports & Soaps TV Remote Finder is made of a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material in a two inch length by one-inch width by one half of one-inch depth (2” x 1” x ½”).  Within this base unit is a radio frequency (RF) transmitter, which broadcasts signals in a nine-hundred to eighteen-hundred megahertz (900-1,800 MHz) range. This transmitter is activated by depression of an included button that is accessible upon the top surface of the base unit.  Upon the bottom exterior plane of the base unit is a layer of hook-and-loop material. A separate, corresponding tab of hook-and-loop material is included, to which the base-unit layer attaches, and it includes a rear wall coating of adhesive material for its secure application upon a television or other location.

The signal of the transmitter emits to a radio frequency (RF) receiver of audio signal alignment. This receiver is housed within a frame of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) that measures approximately one inch in length by one-half-inch in width by one-quarter-inch in depth (1” x ½” x ¼”).  Applied upon one (1) exterior wall of this receiver housing is a tab of double-sided tape, and with which this receiver housing can be applied within the interior plane of the removable battery-compartment cover of a remote control device.

Also within this receiver-housing unit, and directly connected by wire to this receiver, is an audio speaker. This audio speaker broadcasts a consistent tone for a period of forty seconds (40 sec) when the receiver is activated by the transmitter, and through a perforated section on the housing of the receiver.  The housing of the receivers may be produced in the colors of pink and blue, and are packaged separately in coordination by those colors. The pink format bears the name “Soaps” in print upon its top surface, and the blue format carries the name “Sports.” Both the receiver and the transmitter are powered by single lithium batteries, which are contained within the housing of each unit.
